Virginia Kane is a poet who sometimes writes essays.
Her work has appeared in Them., Prairie Schooner, Muzzle Magazine, The Baltimore Review, Poet Lore, and swamp pink, and has received recognition and support from The Adroit Journal, Button Poetry, and Sundress Academy for the Arts.
Virginia has edited for Sunset Press, read for The Kenyon Review, and interned at Copper Canyon Press, Poets House, and Split This Rock.
She lives in Asheville, North Carolina where she works at an indie bookstore, volunteers with the prison books movement, and never shuts up about her flip phone.
